Field Trips

Looking to book a field trip to Pacific Planetarium?

Each visit is unique, and designed to meet the needs of your group:

Up to 3 hours of programming inside the planetarium per visit
Seat up to 26 individuals per show, great for small groups!
Most shows between 20-60 minutes long
Show content adaptable to meet curriculum goals, learning standards, and/or group interest
Option for individuals to explore exhibit spaces while waiting for their turn in the planetarium itself

Availability is limited. Groups that are able to host an outreach visit from our portable planetarium are highly encouraged to consider booking an outreach planetarium visit instead.

Before You Go

🍔 No food or drink is allowed in the planetarium dome.

☣️ Our facility is peanut, latex, and scent free so that those with allergies and other health issues can still enjoy our events. Do not wear perfume or cologne, for example.

🚙 Parking is available for weekend shows at 814 Cogean Ave or there is usually parking available along Pacific Avenue.

♿️ Two handicap parking spaces are available in our small parking lot off of Pacific.
