About Us

The Pacific Planetarium was opened in 2011 as a community outreach program of Digitalis Education Solutions, Inc., which is world renowned for the planetarium systems that it manufactures right here in Bremerton.

Digitalis moved into its present headquarters in 2011, former Fire Station No. 1. This provided enough 'space' for our own fixed planetarium for the public with live, interactive shows. The Pacific Planetarium is a 6.1m fiberglass dome with Digitalis designed ergonomic concentric bench seating for 28 people.

The Pacific Planetarium gives you the chance to immersively explore the universe. Always wanted to go to Mars? We can take you there with our high resolution, multi-projector Æthos planetarium system. The possibilities are limitless and we're so excited for you to experience it firsthand.

Beyond monthly public shows, in 2024 the Pacific Planetarium will start offering outreach programs using a Digitalis-manufactured portable planetarium system, as well as on-site field trip offerings for groups looking for unique planetarium programming to suit their needs.
